Lawrence A. “Larry’’ Bardo of Silver Creek, NY passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening October 16,2020 at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY.
He was born in Silver Creek on September 2,1952, the son of the late Samuel and Mary “May” (Randazzo) Bardo.
Surviving are his two daughters, Michelle (Joel) Procknal of Silver Creek and Sarah (DJ Spatoulas) Spekczynski- Bardo of Tampa, Fla.; a son, Christopher ( Katie Triano) Bardo of Tampa, Fla; four grandchildren, Kylie and Alex Procknal, Kadence Weber and Dominic Spatoulas; a sister, Sandra (Jim) Fuzak of Williamsville, NY; a brother, Paul Bardo of Silver Creek; two extended family members, Shawn Ferguson of Gowanda, NY and Bill DeWeese of Silver Creek; also many dear and great friends.
In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Valentine and a sister-in-law, Karin (Catalano) Bardo.
Larry was a lifelong area resident, who was self-employed working in the food distribution business. He provided Petri Cookies and Bachman Potato Chips to regional grocery stores in WNY. In his younger years Larry was a Little League coach for the Bee-Auto baseball team. He enjoyed bowling and golfing and was a diehard Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan. He also liked to gamble a little bit playing cards, his preference was blackjack and poker and occasionally the slots. He had many great friends who he would meet daily at Tim Horton’s in Irving, NY to catch up and solve the world’s problems.
Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY on Thursday, October 22,2020 from 1-3 PM, where a service will be held at 3 PM. Burial will be made in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
